About The Reporter
The Reporter is a Western Carolina University publication designed to share university news, features and announcements that help connect faculty and staff in the endeavor to carry out the university’s mission. The WCU Office of News Services within the Office of Public Relations prepares The Reporter, which transitioned from a printed to an online format in January 2009. The writers and editors from the Office of News Services prepare the articles selected for publication and edit submitted content to ensure consistency of style and tone.
