Physical therapy faculty, students, alumni attend conference

Faculty, students and alumni of the Department of Physical Therapy attended the June 8-11 national NEXT Conference and Exposition of the American Physical Therapy Association in Nashville.

Physical therapy professors Sue McPherson and Todd Watson presented research on clinical reliability of ultrasound imaging at the conference. Lori Schrodt, associate professor of physical therapy, collaborated with leaders from the American Physical Therapy Association and the Arthritis Foundation to present clinical utilization of new Arthritis Foundation resources. Watson and Jessica Graning, academic coordinator of clinical education, presented on the benefits of a core stabilization program among competitive collegiate dancers. Several Physical Therapy alumni had assisted with both projects as students.
