Presentation at WCU to address obstacles to college for Latina/o students

An English-as-a-second-language community liaison for Durham public schools will visit Western Carolina University to discuss opportunities and obstacles for the state’s Latina/o students who are applying to college.

Fernando Campos will speak at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, in Niggli Theatre on the WCU campus. His presentation is part of the Josefina Niggli Latina/o Speakers Series.
