Nearly 200 prospective students attended one in a series of three WCU On Tour events held recently in Greensboro, Raleigh and Charlotte.
About 27 WCU faculty and staff members went on the road Monday, Sept. 12, through Wednesday, Sept. 14, to take part in one or more of the annual programs that are designed to provide prospective students with information about admission, financial aid, academics and other aspects of college life. The events are coordinated through the Office of Admission.
The numbers of prospective students attending the three events were 62 in Greensboro, 59 in Raleigh, and 75 in Charlotte, for a total of 196. Including the guests who accompanied the prospective students, the events attracted a total of 405 attendees.
Hundreds of prospective students will be visiting the WCU campus Saturday, Nov. 19, as the university holds it fall Open House. Two other Open House events are planned for spring semester, on Feb. 25 and March 25.
