WCU breaks records for total enrollment, freshman enrollment

The size of the student body at Western Carolina University is at an all-time high, with the university posting a record total enrollment this fall that is getting a boost via a corresponding record in freshman enrollment.

Time to throw the white shirts and pants in the wash. The WCU Catamount football team will be kicking off its 2016 campaign Saturday (Sept. 10) at E.J. Whitmire Stadium, and the theme will be “White-Out Whitmire” for the 6 p.m. matchup with Gardner Webb.
