This year’s Rocket to Creativity will take your child’s imagination on a grand adventure! For children ages 7-14, Rocket to Creativity is a week long experience where children are guided in problem/project based learning to explore their passions and unleash their creativity.   The camp will be held in the Killian Building from Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children can choose from one of several exciting areas including the We Dig Archaeology, Spy and Espionage,  the Costume Creator’s Guild, Inventor’s  and more.

Registration fee is $130.00 and includes lunch each day in the Courtyard Dining Hall.  You can register your children online at

Rocket Faculty Writing Camp

WCU faculty can take advantage of an intensive writing week offered by the Coulter Faculty Commons in coordination with the Rocket to Creativity Camp.  This is time for you to write in an environment with few distractions and supportive colleagues?

Rocket Faculty Writing Camp:  10:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday June 20 to June 24 at the Coulter Faculty Commons in the Hunter Library.

Bring your writing projects and ideas for a week where you can focus on writing productivity. We will work to establish reasonable writing goals and rewarding ourselves for meeting them.
