Ray discussed the partnerships the university has with Blue Ridge Community College, Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College and other community colleges to prepare and educate students for the manufacturing workforce.

“We want to provide opportunities to high school and middle school students and particularly their parents to understand that this [manufacturing] is a way to have a safe, stable and secure future,” Ray said during the interview.
