Western Carolina University’s Office of Continuing and Professional Education is offering a four-week Spanish course to help students learn basic communication and vocabulary to use in the community and in professions.
“Habla Conmigo: Conversational Spanish” will be taught by Garrett Fisher, Spanish instructor in WCU’s Department of World Languages. Fisher, who earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish at WCU, has taught at the high school, community college and university levels. He is currently working on a doctorate in educational leadership.
The class will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, March 30 through April 20, in Room 139 of WCU’s Cordelia Camp Building. Cost of the class is $79.
