McDowell presents at regional conference
Dr. Mason C. McDowell, assistant professor and interim director of the WCU Nurse Anesthesia Program, provided an invited lecture to the American Academy of Professional Coders on Sept. 18, 2012. His presentation, titled “Anesthesia, Billing and Codes that Aren’t Blue,” was a component of the monthly continuing education series used by AAPC to qualify for recertification. Attendees included medical coders, billers and administrators from various medical specialties in the region.
