SBTDC wins funding for Procurement Technical Assistance Center and BizBoost program

The Small Business and Technology Development Center at WCU was awarded $64,985 for continuing support of the Procurement Technical Assistance Center.  The PTAC program is funded by the Defense Logistics Agency and provides training and confidential counseling to small and mid-sized businesses interested in selling products to the government. Services are available to businesses free of charge.

The SBTDC also was awarded $99,609 to continue the BizBoost program through June 30. The program began in 2010 and provides specialized services including confidential counseling, assessments and resources for North Carolina businesses with 10 or more employees.
