The 40th annual Madrigal Dinners will be held at WCU on December 3 and 4. WCU faculty, staff and students, as well as surrounding community members, will come together on these two nights for a dinner celebrating the holidays in a different kind of times set in 16th century England.
The Madrigal Dinners are held annually at WCU as a celebration of winter and the various holidays around this season. The themed dinner will feature different musical and dramatic performances by WCU students, faculty and staff. Attendees of the Madrigal Dinners will feast upon grilled pork loin chop with bourbon-apple glaze, Cornish game hen, roasted potatoes, glazed carrots, plum pudding, romaine salad and more.
The incoming Lord and Lady, Boyd and Linda Sossomon of Sylva, will be the newest Lord and Lady after James and Barbara Dooley held the positions for many years.
