Research presented at national nurse anesthetist conference

The graduate students were the first and second authors of “What Pharmacologic Characteristics of Propofol Contribute to its Use as Drug of Abuse?” Additional authors were Claire DeCristofaro, associate professor of nursing, and Mason McDowell, assistant professor nursing.
In addition, DeCristofaro recently presented “Controlled Substance Prescribing: Focus on Pain Management” for an invited continuing education seminar for nurse practitioners at the Charles George VA Medical Center.
