Emergency preparedness drill set for March 3

Western Carolina University and several regional emergency response agencies will conduct a disaster preparedness drill on the Cullowhee campus Tuesday, March 3. The drill will involve a simulated “active shooter” incident in a campus residence hall.

Record number of applications prompts fall waiting list

Tuition to increase $14 per semester for 2009-10

The University of North Carolina Board of Governors approved on Friday, Feb. 13, an increase in undergraduate tuition that means Western Carolina University’s in-state students will pay an additional $14 a semester for the 2009-10 academic year.

Fine Art Museum to host Tuesday gallery talk, reception
